Testimonials

Works great on acrylic crystals. I have used this on both an Omega Speedmaster and a vintage Rolex Date. I bought the Omega new and use polywatch just for maintenance. Just a few drops and a light buffing works well. The old Rolex was pretty scratched and I gave it a good coating and a fair amount of elbow grease and it too came out great. Have realistic expectations going into it and you should be pleased.

I had a product similar to this 30 years ago and it worked well. It is pricey for the quality as the tube appeared to be 1/2 empty. I did an extreme test and used it on a WW II era compass that was probably not cleaned since. For light scratches on plastic surfaces they can be restored to like new.

This product made such a difference. It took almost the entire tube, but it was definitely worth it. I had called Rolex and talked to them and they were saying it would cost over $500 to replace the crystal. Fortunately for me, my crystal is acrylic, not mineral. It would not have worked had it been anything other than acrylic. I used a micro fiber wash cloth to scrub the crystal with the product. It took about 30 minutes of work... but it certainly did the job!

Product description

THE PROBLEM Plastic watch crystals scratch very easily with the result that they soon look unattractive. Replacement of the crystal is not normally possible, especially where watches have plastic cases.
THE SOLUTION Watch owners the world over suffer from this sort of problem, but now Watch Revival, a new type of special-purpose polishing paste, offers them an extraordinarily simple solution.
For the first time, consumers can remove scratches rapidly and cheaply from their plastic watch crystal by carrying out an easy-to-follow "do-it-yourself" procedure. Apply Watch Revival to the watch crystal.
Polish the scratched areas for 2-3 minutes with great pressure at a right angle to the scratches, using a piece of cotton wool.
Deep scratches need to be treated more than once. Finally, remove any remaining Watch Revival with a cloth. The tube contents of 5 ml is sufficient for approximately 10 uses. The plastic glass is very slightly dissolved and ground down by tiny abrasive particles. The edges of the scratch marks are then smoothed off and the cracks filled in with some of the original plastic from the watch crystal.
